Manufacturing Process
Feed premixes are customized blend of two or more kinds of specified active ingredients designated as "feed additives". When excipients are compounded, all substances are manufactured to be uniform.
Active ingredients include vitamins, minerals, amino acids, enzymes, live culture, organic acids, and others, all of which are required to nurture livestock.
We, Japan Nutrition Co. Ltd., produce high-quality premixes tailored to our customers' needs. Our premixes are manufactured under a strict production management system at our plants, all of which received GMP certificate for Feed guidelines compliance, and two of which (Kashima and Shibushi) have obtained ISO22000 and FAMI-QS certifications.

Stable supply and fast delivery thanks to three domestic plants
We are the only premix manufacturer that has a network of three plants in Japan. Located in Kashima, Shibushi, and Tomakomai, where a large amount of animal feed is produced, these plants ensure a stable supply and fast delivery.

Flexible and fast response to requests from all around Japan including areas with large volumes of feed distribution
Kashima Plant covers the entire Honshu area, while Shibushi Plant is located in the southern Kyushu region, Japan's largest livestock source. Tomakomai Plant started its operation in May 2023. We have built a network of plants, taking production areas and distribution volume into consideration, to make timely responses and shipments possible.
Japan Nutrition's plants
Our flagship plant in Kashima, Ibaraki Prefecture, produces approximately 1,000 varieties of feed premixes annually. The ratio of every raw material is precisely controlled by computers. In our micro weighing room, experienced staff manually and precisely formulate ingredients chosen from over 250 kinds of raw materials, resulting in high-quality and meticulous production. Our three plants are among the few in Japan where production lines can be washed with water. Such a pristine environment provides safety and reassurance.
